The Best solution is a Portable Document Management System, running exclusively from a pen drive. You can store scanned images of documents in the pen drive and view them at any time you wish to.

• Run exclusively from a pen drive or external hard disk.
• Store the data in folders and sub folders. For example, you want to store data of your income tax returns and refunds, you can create a folder as Income Tax and a sub folder for the financial year. You can even make another folder within the Financial year folder for Income Tax returns and another for Income Tax refunds.. That means there is a 3 level hierarchy for storing any document.
• Enter the appropriate key words while storing the document, so that viewing on the basis of key words is easy.
• You can define upto 10 properties for a document as you wish.. The properties could be the file type, original or revised, date of submission etc.. These are some sample properties.. But they can be defined as per your choice.
• View the document on any criteria or combination of criteria ( like Document Stored Date, Name of Document, Keywords, Folder or Sub folder etc..)
• You can name the document as per your choice
• Edit / Delete the stored document
• Provision for storing more than one image of a document ( if the document is in 4 pages, there may be 4 images for a single document. All the 4 images can be attached to a file)
• The same application can be modified as a multi user , web based program and can be accessed by any user of the Company. ( Making it a full Document Management System or File Management System)

Classic Loader

Classic Loader:
Classic Loader is a software which helps Indian Banks in automating statutory return submission to RBI through OSMOS, ORFS and XBRL.

OSMOS:OSMOS is a Visual Basic Application provided by RBI to Indian Banks to submit some statutory returns. Since there is no upload facility into this software, Banks prepare the source files, normally in excel and then do a data entry to the screens of OSMOS. The returns span so many screens with lot of fields for data entry and it is a tedious process. ClassicLoader avoids the data entry by reading the source excel files and transfers the data to the respective fields of OSMOS. It helps in avoiding the data entry errors and saves a lot of valuable time of the staff.

ORFS:

RBI has introduced Online Reports Filing System (ORFS) during 2004. Submission of returns to RBI is through a secured website namely: https://secweb.rbi.org.in/ORFSMainWeb/. Banks need to key in data to various reports on this site. If the source data is in XML foramt, there is a provision on the site to upload the XML file so that there is no need of a data entry. ClassicLoader reads data from the source excel file and creates XML file which can be directly uploaded to ORFS site, thereby avoiding the data entry.

XBRL:

XBRL is a macro enabled excel template given by RBI and Banks again need to do data entry to this XBRL template file. ClassicLoader helps to transfer data to the XBRL template so that tedious data entry to XBRL file is not required.
